Lucie’s Mastiff Mission

Lucie's Mastiff Mission is 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehoming English Mastiffs, a breed that has captured our hearts for generations. Our passion for these gentle giants stems from years of experience and love spent with our family Mastiffs. We understand the unique needs of this breed, from their affectionate nature to their sometimes stubborn personalities.

Our mission is not only to find loving homes for these dogs but also to educate the public about responsible ownership and the importance of breed-specific care. We provide support to new families, ensuring a smooth transition for both the dog and its new owner. Each Mastiff that comes through our doors is given a second chance at life, treated with compassion, and integrated into a nurturing environment.

We rely on generous donations, volunteer support, and community involvement to continue our work. Through fundraising events and outreach programs, we aim to raise awareness about the joys and responsibilities of owning an English Mastiff. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of these magnificent dogs and the families that welcome them into their homes.

Join us in our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome English Mastiffs. Together, we can give these amazing dogs the loving families and forever homes they deserve.

Why give?

  • Hungry Dogs Need To Eat.

On average Lucie’s Mastiff Mission rescues about 50 mastiffs a year. Just like how the cost of our food and necessities go up every year so do our four legged friends food.

  • Quality Of Life

Every Mastiff that Lucie’s Mastiff Mission rescues get a visit to the vet. We make sure that there are no surprise medical conditions or underlying health problems that we are not aware of, so when you adopt a mastiff from us, we can do our best to provide you with all the right history. All rescues are spayed, nuetererd , etc. On average each dog cost’s us around $1,250.00 a year. Dogs with more advanced medical needs cost more. Sometimes that means our friends are prescribed certain medications that we pay for out pocket until they find there forever home

  • Adoption Cost

Rescues come from all different types of situations from owner surrender, death of owner and among the most common kennel rescues. There are a lot of kennels that don’t like to work with 501c3 rescues. However when we are able to save dogs from the harsh life of a shelter, there is always an adoption fee.

  • Travel Cost

As well as rescuing locally, we travel all over the country spending hours driving and transporting mastiffs. Whether it’s picking up a dog in need or personally driving them to their forever home

  • Happy Dogs

As well as making sure our mastiff visitors are healthy and well fed we also want to make sure everybody is happy and comfortable. We are constantly getting our furry friends new toys to keep themselves happy and busy.

  • No More Itching

As every pet owner knows flea, tick and heartworm prevention is a common thing. We make sure everybody is regularly treated for fleas, tick, heartwormer, etc.

Lucie’s Mastiff Mission wants to thank each and every person that has helped us in our mission. From our fosters, our volunteer transporters and to everyone that dontates.
